It can sometimes be hard to tell if the skin care regimen you’re using is helping or hurting your skin. I’ve often seen clients who have been doing regimens that they believed helped them because the products were expensive, but in fact the products were harming their skin.
Here are some signs that your products may not be pulling their weight when it comes to your skin care:
- Your skin doesn’t feel hydrated and moisturized enough,
- Your skin becomes more sensitive and prone to redness,
- Dullness and lack of glow to the skin, and flakiness, and
- Your pores are getting more clogged, leaving you prone to breaking out.
We often misunderstand these signs as happening because we are aging, ignoring the fact that they are all classic symptoms of a faulty skin care regimen. You can have those symptoms from aging as well, but with the right diet and right skin care regimen you can avoid many of these problems.
